WOW WOW WOW everyone! i am really excited to unveil the next project we are working on…. BIG BIG CITY: a yearlong series of events celebrating and connecting the vibrant arts communities of the USA!
yes, isn’t that exciting? the first stop will be in my hometown of CHICAGO next tuesday, february 7th. i met debbie at dose back in november and had wanted to work with her in some capacity. so when i planned my trip home for my grandmother’s birthday, i asked her to plan this event with me.
we decided to get some friends together for a one-night-only pop-up art market at Public Works Gallery on the bustling corner of north/damen/milwaukee in wicker park! this is designed to be a bright, warm and fun event to look forward to in the middle of these grey winter days! come celebrate with us!
the goods range from jewelry to home to printed matter to vintage and all are from the talented likes of: The Post Family, AHC, 5×7, Alex Fuller, Chad Kouri, Dante Carlos, Boyfren Girlfren, Jeremy Edwards, ODLCO, ChuyuWear, Nourishing Notes, I’m Smitten, Hawkeye Vintage, Up In the Air Somewhere, +++ the BIG THINGS SHOP & my mom’s designer vintage collection, La Chanteuse Vintage!
we have also partnered with 826Chi, a non-profit youth writing and tutoring center and extension of dave eggers’ 826Valencia here in SF. someone from 826 will be on hand to talk more about the program and how you can get involved, plus we’ll be having a bakesale and raffle to benefit the organization with prizes from Revolution Brewing Company and each of our vendors.
chicago has some incredible stuff going on right now and this is a great chance to see what’s up!
at the end of the week i’ll be in new york for BIG BIG CITY: Brooklyn w/brooklyn skillshare and some lovely area artists at launchpad! that’s on february 11th…
CANT WAIT to see you and start this incredible tour….!!!

Big Time. Huge congrats, Rebecca! Now I see – work AND pleasure…
(Also: I can barely stand how much I love your sweet social icons. Second only to that background image. Love!)
Awesome! Sounds fun!
