I am officially recovered from World Party Day! The party in SF was a great success despite the rainy Tuesday night. We packed Asterisk Magazine’s headquarters with streamers, alien and earth balloons, got hopped up on cupcakes and pixie sticks and Whirled Party Drinks! We limbo-ed, we danced, we g-chatted and had a ball. Smiles all around! World Party Day buttons, confetti everywhere! What a wonderful celebration of togetherness, happiness and peace!!!
I also want to take a moment to express my enormous gratitude for all the collaborators we had on this project! We were literally partying ALL OVER THE WORLD for this and that is freaking amazing!!! Many thanks to: Amy at Pikaland in Malyasia, Jenny at Hank & Hunt in Washington, Sarah and Brian from Westervin in Chicago, Mallory from Where the Lovely things Are in Maine, Claire & Kristin at Blow Up! in NYC, the Victorias from Gift Wrap HQ in London, Mariah of Size Too Small in South Africa, Tiffany at Tifamade in Paris, Riika at WEEKDAYCARNIVAL in Finland, Venessa of Kernels and Seeds in Seattle, Debbie Carlos and Lilian Martinez in Chicago, Carmen from My Little Architect in Berlin, and Glade of Glademade in Austin, Sarah at Brown Paper Bag in Baltimore, Erin & Becca from The Adventure School in Seattle!
Last but certainly not least, I must thank the wonderful Kit Palaskas for believing in this idea helping make it grow despite our 18 hour time difference! Big hug to Aviva from The Adventure School, who, after 10 days of party-throwing in Seattle, came back to SF and busted this out with me. High fives to Asterisk Magazine for the space & support! And to ALL the helpers- Carly, Pilar, Anna, Chelsea, Holly and everyone who decorated and celebrated with us. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!
