NYC: The Place to BE?!

May 31, 2012

I decided to take somewhat of an impromptu pre-Memorial Day long weekend to New York…! The program consisted of lots of running around to: Schiaparelli & Prada, TOMAS SARACENO on the roof of The Met, the in-fucking-credible Dia:Beacon, Stephen at Sri Textiles, the Wythe Hotel, and various holes-in-the-wall, backyards, parks, rooftops (& rooftop farm!), beergardens, streetcorners, bus stops, and walk-ups. IT WAS SO HOT, it was a real summer tease, I tell you! I could wear all kinds of things that would never fly in SF, never fly.

Cheers to my lovely host & adventurer, Andrew; my bffs Tracy & Jake for their partnership, friendship, kinship; Olivia for our biannual dancing and catch up sesh; birthday dim sum and ice cream in Chinatown w/Meg from GAGCHaydenLessa and friends for the professional chit chats and even more ice cream; and all the wonderful new friends trying to convince me to move out there…. hustle bustle chustle NEW YORK CITY. I love it and I am pumped, but do I really need to move there? Not fully convinced yet… Enjoy the Instagram diary until I get my film developed!

Oh yes, NYC, how I love that city as well! True, we don’t have those lovely warm nights where you can float around town wearing a tshirt or skirt :) By the way, such a small world it is: I work with Maricelle, who is Katheryn’s younger sister!!

How funny!!! I might see Kathryn tomorrow night, we should all meet up! Would be so nice to meet you :) :) :) The world always ends up being soooo small!
